7am Your driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you there.
Arrival around 11am, you will take a shuttle, or if you want to take time and take benefit of the view, cross the bay by walking. ( The tides in the area are famous for their rapid and powerful changes. During high tide, the island can become surrounded by water; during low tide, the beach and sand causeway are revealed. The centerpiece of Mont Saint-Michel is the Abbey. You can take an optional expert-guided tour or explore it on your own. The abbey provides information. The architecture and views from the top are breathtaking. Be prepared to climb many stairs to reach the Abbey.
